Nobel Prize: institution, award procedure and laureates
Nobel Prizes owe their appearance to Alfred Bernharder Nobel (1833 – 1896), who distinguished himself as an inventor and industrialist. In 1895, Nobel made a will. It states, it says, that annually the income from his capital, divided into five equal parts, should be distributed in the form of bonuses.
